Lawton's Cove is located on Doe Lake Road about two kilometres west of Hwy. 11. Follow Hwy. 11 to Katrine (Exit 252), about 25 kms. north of Huntsville. Go west on the Doe Lake Rd. about 2 kms. and watch for the Lawton's Cove sign on your right, the blue cottages. You can't miss us.

Lawton's Cove is located in Katrine between Huntsville and Burk's Falls. Burk's Falls, only ten minutes away, can provide all that a cottager might need: grocery stores, restaurants, liquor and beer store, craft shops and churches of almost any denomination. There is even an emergency medical facility. Huntsville Muskoka, about twenty minutes away, is a much larger centre with facilities one would expect in a major centre including a modern hospital.

There is no difficulty in finding things to do. If golfing is your activity, there is a golf course within two miles and there are championship layouts in Huntsville. Horseback riding, skating rink, bowling alley and the movie theatre is available in the area as well. If sightseeing is your interest, Algonquin Park is not far away and the Almaguin Highlands, where we are located, affords some of the most spectacular scenery in Ontario. Come here to experience the fall colours and you won't be disappointed.
